Hi, I’m Allexa! I am a licensed psychological associated located in Amarillo, TX.

I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and difficult life transitions. My approach blends evidence-based practices with mindfulness and psychodynamic techniques, helping clients reconnect with their inner wisdom and build lives rooted in authenticity and care.

I believe healing happens in relationship, with ourselves, with others, and with our stories.

I graduated from West Texas A&M University in December of 2023 and obtained my clinical license in September of 2024. Before becoming a clinician, I worked in higher education collaborating between institutions across the panhandle to ensure high quality and equitable mental health care for all students. During my graduate training, I worked with Dr. Mun Yee Kwan, LP, PhD, as a research assistant investigating suicide, body appreciation, and cultural influences.

I am currently under supervision by Dr. Pamela Kirby, LP, PsyD

When I am not working, I enjoy playing with my dog Ojo and curling up with some hot tea and my cats, Zeke and Squirrel. I also love hiking, camping, and traveling when I can.
